The rooms in this grand building were spacious with high ceilings and well-furnished. The bed and bathroom were exceptional, making for a comfortable stay. the staff were friendly and accommodating, providing excellent recommendations for sightseeing and dining. The breakfast service was a nice touch, with fresh bakery products and a friendly cleaner who served it.
The location of the hotel was not ideal, as it was a bit far from the city center, making it uncomfortable to walk back at night. There were also some concerns about safety, as a car parked in a nearby street was broken into overnight.

I got great value for my money at this cozy B&B. The room was renovated and felt like a 5-star hotel room. The location was perfect, with lots of good places to eat and drink nearby. The staff was helpful and kind, making my stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
The breakfast experience could be improved by allowing guests to eat in their own rooms instead of the small breakfast room.

We had a bit of trouble finding our hostess upon arrival, but our cab driver was able to locate her quickly and get us settled into our unit. The location of the bed and breakfast was perfect, allowing us to easily walk to all areas of interest. The rooms were clean, well-appointed, and the breakfasts were delicious. One highlight was when our hostess made reservations for a guided tour of Mt. Etna, which was absolutely awesome. our stay at Palazzo Degli Affreschi was exceptional, and we would definitely stay there again if we return to the area.
